On this episode, we had special guest Ethan Shuley on the podcast! Ethan just ran the Sydney Marathon finishing in 13th with a time of 2:08! He had a bit of a hectic build up - moving back to the US, finding himself in the hospital with a bowel obstruction shortly before the race, and then dealing with a pretty severe shin issue in the weeks leading up as well.
We recapped Sydney, discussed his new contract with Asics, and also discussed what’s next for him when he announced he is running Valencia Marathon on the pod! He is hoping to run under 2:06 in Valencia and will be training a good amount in Flagstaff in the build up.
