Terms of Service

Terms for using Best Running Podcasts, including optional Google sign-in and synced listening data.

Best Running Podcasts (“the site”, “we”, “us”) is published by NEDA. By using the site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Last updated: July 2026.

The service

Best Running Podcasts is a free, editorial directory of running-related podcasts. We provide podcast listings, links to third-party listening apps, on-site episode playback where available, and optional tools such as favorites export and cross-device sync when you sign in.

We may change, suspend, or remove parts of the site at any time without notice.

Who can use the site

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must be old enough to use online services and sign-in providers in your country. If you use the site on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

Accounts and Google sign-in

Sign-in is optional. You can browse and listen without an account.

If you choose Sign in with Google, authentication is handled by Supabase using Google OAuth. You are also subject to Google’s terms and privacy policies for that sign-in. We do not receive your Google password.

When signed in, the site may store your listening progress, continue-listening state, and starred podcasts so you can restore them on other devices. Details about what we collect and how to delete it are in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for activity that happens while you are signed in on your device or browser.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • misuse the site or attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer it beyond normal browsing and listening
  • use the site in a way that infringes someone else’s rights or breaks applicable law
  • interfere with other visitors’ use of the site
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us or using sign-in

We may restrict or end access if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms.

Third-party content and services

Podcast episodes, artwork, feeds, and app links are provided by third parties. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, legality, or terms.

When you play an episode, follow an external link, or use Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google, Supabase, or another third-party service, their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Intellectual property

The site’s editorial selection, design, branding, and original text are owned by NEDA or its licensors. Podcast names, artwork, episode audio, and show descriptions belong to their respective owners.

You may share links to pages on the site. You may not copy or republish substantial portions of the directory in a competing product without our permission.

Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that the directory is complete, current, error-free, or that playback or sync will always work.

Podcast recommendations and descriptions reflect editorial judgment. They are not professional coaching, medical, or legal advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NEDA and the people who operate the site will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or third-party services linked from it.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the site will be limited to the amount you paid us to use the site in the twelve months before the claim. For most visitors, that amount is zero.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection law.

Ending your use

You may stop using the site at any time. You may sign out from the header. To request deletion of cloud data tied to your Google account, contact us using the email below.

We may suspend or terminate access to signed-in features, or to the site generally, if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the service, other users, or third parties.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle analytics, optional sign-in, and synced library data. It forms part of your agreement with us when you use the site.
