On this episode, the boys had the backyard ultra/motivational speaking legend Mark Dowdle back on the podcast!

A lot has changed since we first had Mark on earlier this year. On his first episode with us, he was a relative unknown in the ultra/backyard scene. Now - he has won the BPN Last Man Standing, is a BPN/Rappid Athlete, and is feared on any backyard start line.

Mark’s recent big race was the Mid-State Mile, where he had an epic duel with Harvey Lewis. We recapped that race and talked about what he learned in getting 2nd to Harvey.

Mark had a couple big announcements on this pod! He just picked up a new apparel sponsorship with Rappid and is also running Kim Gottwald’s Last Soul Ultra here in just a couple weeks in Germany against a stacked field.
