On this episode, Chris and friend of the pod Ryan Carney fully broke down Josh Kerr’s mile world record in London over the weekend. He ran 3:42.66 to break Hicham El Guerroj’s 27 year old record from Rome 1999. We talked about how the race played out, how impressed we were with the build up and by his coach Danny Mackey, and also his 1200m time trial before the race.
Also - USA Outdoor Championships are THIS WEEKEND! We previewed the races we are most excited about. We also chatted training updates for myself and Ryan on this episode. Enjoy!
