    Agnes Ngetich set the Women’s Only World Record as she won the Half Marathon in 1:05:15 at the World Road Racing Championships Half Marathon in Copenhagen, Denmark. Veronica Loleo of Kenya and Florence Niyonkuru of Rwanda. Rebecca Lowe ran a personal best of 1:11:08, while Ruby Smee ran 1:13:31 and Donve Viljoen ran 1:13:43.

    Andreas Almgren set a European Record of 58:06 in winning over Nicholas Kipkorir and Joshua Cheptegei. Ed Marks 38th 61:50, Haftu Strintzos 50th 62:25 Liam Boudin 69th 63:22

    Rose Davies won the bronze medal in the Road 5K in 14:50 behind winner Likina Amebaw of Ethiopia in 14:41 and Caroline Gitonga. Georgia Griffith placed seventh in 15:01. Ky Robinson placed fourth in the 5k in 13:04, as Dawit Seare outkicked Jakob Ingebrigsten to win in 12:56.

    Oli Hoare set a new National Record in the Road Mile running 3:53.65 to place sixth behind winner Robert Farken of Germany in 3:51.80, with Jude Thomas running 3:54.92. Agathe Guillemot of France won the Women’s Road Mile in 4:22.74 in a European record, Linden Hall was seventh in an Oceania Record 4:29.36, Sarah Billings ran 4:32.68

    World Athletics Results

    Colm Fitzgerald and Sarah James are the inaugural winners of the Geelong Marathon.

    Liam Adams won the half marathon in 1:05:26, Brooke Williams won in 1:19:53.

    Jaylah Hancock-Cameron won the Run Prix 10k in 33:10 over Zoe Melhuish and Stella Radford. Logan Janetzki won the 10k main event in 29:19 over Dale Carroll and Luke Hince.

    City Bay 12k was won by Matt Ramsden in 34:31 over Tom Do Canto and Liam Cashin, while Izzi Batt-Doyle won in 37:11 ahead of Tara Palm and Caitlin Scott. Fraser Darcy and Alicia Taylor won the half marathon.
