Dominic Lobalu took line honours in the Monaco Diamond League 5000m in 12:52.54, winning by .06 over Graham Blanks, while Ky Robinson ran 13:26.70.
Emmanuel Wanyonyi set the World Record in the 1000m in 2:11:83, while Daniel Williams ran 2:16.41.
Jess Hull paced the 3000m to lead Agnes Ngetich to a 8:08.95 victory. Elly Fleming won the 1000m in 2:53.23
Logan Janetzki won the Victorian Cross Country Championship in Bundoora, winning the 10k in 31:26 ahead of Sandringham teammate Ben Buckingham and Liam Cashin of Western Athletics. Sandringham went on to win the Premier Division Title ahead of Bendigo and Melbourne Uni.
Georgia Hansen for Box Hill won the State Title in 35:40 ahead of Natalie Rule for Sandringham and Katherine Dowie for Ballarat. Sandringham also secured victory in the Women’s Premier Division over Box Hill and Melbourne University.
Josh Phillips won the NSW Short Course XC Championships, taking out the 7.5km at Dapto in 22:42. Kate Spencer successfully defended for a third consecutive title 26:12.
Tara Palm third in Porto Alegre Marathon in Brazil 2:34:40 after leading for much of it, with Kaoutar Kahhaz of Morocco winning in 2:33:01. The men’s race was won by Zineddine Ouria of Morocco in 2:08:52 while Eliud Kipchoge 2:18:42 for 12th in his world tour.
Jackson Sharp lead a quartet of Aussies in the Mile at the Morton Games in Dublin, Ireland, with Jack Anstey in 3:55.01, Thomas Diamond in 3:55.40 and Alex Stitt in 3:56.00.
Jude Thomas ran 13:17.98 in the 5000m, while Toby Gillen ran 13:38.69.
Claudia Hollingsworth set a meet record in the Meeting Lignano in Italy to win the 1500m in 4:00.70
